These terms and conditions apply to all tickets bought and sold using Smart-ticket.info (“Smart Ticket” or this “Site”).
By buying or selling any tickets through Smart Ticket you agree to these terms and conditions. As these terms and conditions may change at any time please look at this page regularly and each time you buy or sell tickets.
Information about us
Smart Ticket is owned and operated by Afrique Today LLC (“we” or “us”). We are registered in USA , VA.
Our relationship with you
Smart Ticket has a relationship with event organizers (“Organizers”) for whom we facilitate tickets sales and Ticket Buyers (“Buyers”) for whom we facilitate ticket purchases. These terms and conditions govern both relationships. Smart Ticket facilitates online sales of tickets between Organizers and Buyers.
Smart Ticket does not host or organize events: it only provides an online ticket selling service. Therefore, Smart Ticket has no direct responsibility for any events listed through its online booking service.
Section 1: Smart Ticket and Buyers
Purchasing tickets using Smart Ticket
To purchase one or many tickets please visit the Smart Ticket event url https://smart-ticket.info/ and select the date for which you wish to purchase tickets and select the number of tickets. Certain events are marketed on multiple dates and may also have multiple priced ticket tiers. Be sure to select the correct date and time and pricing tier.
Payment and Refund Policy and our role as agent
The full price for your tickets (including a booking fee if applicable) will be reflected on the confirmation screen prior to you clicking the “BUY” button.
This must be paid at the time of booking and will be deducted from the credit, charge or debit card you enter when making your booking. Payment of that amount will be collected by PayPal.com, on behalf the Organizer. By entering your card details at the time of booking you authorize PayPal.com to debit that amount from your card and we confirm that Paypal.com will pay the relevant amount over to the Event Organizer after deduction of any transaction fees that the Organizer has agreed. PayPal.com may retain and any commissions payable by the Organizer to us.
Once you have purchased tickets through Smart Ticket the price paid for your tickets is non–refundable and that booking cannot be altered unless consent is given by the Organizer.
We act as agents for the organizers’ events included on this site. We do not charge you any fee for making a booking through this Site although Organizers may choose to add our transaction fee to the booking total. We will be entitled to receive a transaction fee from the Organizer in respect of any booking you make through this Site (whether or not the Organize wishes to add that fee to the face value of the tickets purchased)
Whilst we have put in place arrangements for the organizers to have up to date availability via this Site, there may be occasional instances where there is a system error or other administrative problem and the event that you have booked is not available for the dates that you have booked for. If this happens, it is the organizer’s responsibility to inform you as soon as possible and to make arrangements for you to receive a refund. In these circumstances we may sometimes process that refund and/ or inform you of the need to cancel.
Changes and queries relating to your ticket booking
If you have any queries about your booking, wish to make any change to it or make any other arrangements with any organizer you have booked via Smart Ticket, please contact the Organizer directly. The contact details for your Organizer will be contained in your Ticket Booking Confirmation and, in the Follow, Up Email.
Please note you may not be entitled to make any changes to the tickets booked through Smart Ticket and any such changes are entirely at the Organizer’s discretion.
We will pass on the details that you give us at the time of booking to the Organizer.
Organizers account types
Currently, we provide Organizers with two types of accounts:
– Basic plan, which allows the creation of unlimited free events on our site,
– Business plan , which allows the sale of tickets for a fee. This type of account has a monthly fee of $35, which is non-refundable under all possible circumstances.They can request the cancellation of the premium membership anytime. In this sense, we will downgrade them at free membership and they will have the full chance to return with a premium account when and if they want.
Payment renewal for premium accounts
These conditions apply only to premium accounts.
Unless you expressly notify us that you do not wish to renew your premium membership at the end of your monthly subscription period, we are entitled to automatically collect the subscription fee. We are not obliged to provide you with any written or verbal notice of this.
Section 2: Smart Ticket and Organizers
Opening an Event Organizer Account
There are three steps to opening a Smart Ticket Account.
STEP ONE: Create Account
- Signup with your email and a password of your choice.
- Activate your account by looking for the validation email in your inbox.
- Login with your email address and password
- Enter be required to enter your First Name and Surname, your company name and your website and twitter name. These details will be displayed on your event pages.
STEP TWO: Connect to PayPal.com
STEP THREE: Create your first event.
After creating your event, it will be managed and uploaded in the website.
Your Account with PayPal.com and our charges
PayPal.com is a third party online payment processer. PayPal.com handles all online debit and credit card payments on behalf of the Organizer. Smart Ticket processes the Event Organizer’s ticket sales. PayPal.com collects the ticket sales proceeds from the Buyer and pays it directly to the Event Organizer subject to PayPal’s separate Terms and Conditions.
Section 3: Organizers and Buyers
Data protection and privacy
The Site may contain links to sites of Organizers and other sites and resources provided by third parties. These links are provided for your information only. We do not take any responsibility for any content of any sites provided by the Organizers or others as we have no control over the content of those sites. We do not accept any responsibility for such sites or for any loss or damage that may result from using them.
Exclusions and limitations of liability
The contract for your booking for an event is between you and the organizer. It is the Organizer’s responsibility to provide the access to the event that you have booked via the Site. We do not have any liability or responsibility to provide any such access on the event nor do we have any liability or responsibility for Organizer failing to comply with its contract with you or for any other acts or omissions of any organizer.
All information relating to events featured on this Site has been provided by the organizers themselves. As we do not check that information or inspect any venues, we do not guarantee or provide any assurances that any information relating to the venues or other content provided on this Site is up to date or accurate.
Whilst we endeavor to make this Site available, no guarantees or warranties are made that it will be available at any time or at all.
Save as provided below, we exclude all liability for all loss and damage incurred by you or any user in connection with this Site. Without limitation, we exclude all liability for the following: direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects, limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable then the remainder of the terms shall remain in full force and effect.
You agree that these terms and conditions and any documents referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of Smart Ticket and supersede anything previously agreed between you and us.
If we fail to exercize or enforce any right we have under these terms and conditions, this does not mean that we have waived that right and we may still exercize or enforce that right later on.
Any notice we give you may be given to you at the email address you have registered with us.
Any logo, material or content on this site is the sole property of us or our affiliates. Any attempt to reproduce, distribute, disseminate, modify (in whole or in part) the copyrighted content without written consent signed by us is hereby rejected.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
The US courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or dispute arising from or related to Smart Ticket or relating to these terms and conditions. These terms and your use and access of Smart Ticket are governed by US law.
